Nudes, tans, whites, creams...I have a huge crush on them all. Mostly because I love neutrals. And today we're adding blush tones to that list!

I've seen some pretty great roundups of items in this hue lately, including the ones from Whipped Style and Lana Jayne. And any color that I love enough to want to wear from head to toe obviously deserves its place here in Purse Picks! My absolute favorite is that woven clutch. I don't know why I'm so drawn to it (aka about 3.7 seconds from buying it) but I just know it would get so much play in my wardrobe.

Perfect match

Is there a more perfect match for a maxi dress on cool spring or summer days (and nights) than a denim jacket? Methinks not. They're just so easy to toss on and still allow you to look cute/like you tried...even if you know the exact opposite to be the truth.

This specific outfit was ideal for a car ride back from Pennsylvania this past weekend. I tend to love maxi dresses for long trips of any kind where you're sitting down because they're sorta like wearing a blanket. And we all know that blankets encourage naps!

If there's one thing I love, it's getting dressed up. I'm talking the black tie, formal kind of dressed up. It's not something that happens too often - and it's been pure coincidence that I've gotten to pull out all the stops multiple times in the last few weeks - but I always appreciate the opportunity to get a little fancy!

It's also a great excuse (when don't I have an excuse to go shopping?) to snatch up a new dress like this one! I saw it in the store and was hesitant to try it on because I "knew what I was looking for," but am so glad I was convinced otherwise. It was the perfect pick for a black tie wedding we attended last weekend. Now all I need is another event so I can wear it again!
