Pink + black

Blouse: Equipment || Pants: Nordstrom (almost identical) || Heels: Qupid (another fab option that's also great for fall) || Purse: Target || Sunglasses: Forever 21 (love these!) || Midi ring: Nordstrom (found here)

I have never considered myself a girly girl. Sure, I enjoy a good feminine piece every now and then, but more often than not I'm balancing it with something a little bit edgy. The same goes for this pink blouse. It's Equipment. And it was on sale at Nordstrom Rack for more than 60 percent off. Basically, it was free. And you just. don't. pass up that kind of deal. To offset the blouse, I dug these super comfy faux leather track pants out of the depths of my closet. They've been hiding since my preggo days and when the weather was a bit cooler. Now that we're heading into fall, I figured it's the perfect time to add them back into the rotation!

Oh, and can we talk a little bit about this bag? This baaagggg. I know I mentioned it yesterday but we really just need to spend a little more time obsessing over it. Or at least I do. When I spotted it in Target -- yes, Target -- I about lost my mind. Had I been transported to a high end department store? Was there a designer label stitched to the inside? Nope and nope. I was still in Target. And the price tag was still less than $40. I know. You're going to want to get on that train, friends.

Tuesday Temptations: Fall must-haves

Tuesday Temptations: fall favorites

One || Two || Three || Four || Five || Six || Seven || Eight || Nine || Ten

I tend to go a little nuts this time of year when it comes to shopping. Fall is my absolute favorite season to dress for, there's inspiration everywhere, and I'd love nothing more than to spend all of my money on clothing. Okay, so maybe that's a year-round urge. But hey, we all have our demons.

In reality, I'm actually a fairly responsible human who has a budget and all that adult stuff. Which means I have to pick and choose the pieces I'll be adding to my wardrobe for the season.

If you buy nothing else, you need a pair of ripped black skinnies. I've already been living in this pair (seen here) and also love the pair above. I won't ramble on too much right now re: my obsession since I plan on dedicating an entire post to them. Because that's how deep I'm in, friends. Stay tuned.

Also, Target. The store none of us can ever walk out of without spending three times what we planned is totally killing it for fall. I've already snagged those booties in two colors, that hat and the purse. Sorry I'm not sorry.

Dress: DVF via Nordstrom Rack (shop similar styles below) || Heels: Zara (similar) || Clutch:Gigi New York || Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Ya know when you go shopping with one thing in mind and then end up with something totally different? That's basically the story with this dress.

I was looking for an outfit for our little nugget's baptism this past weekend and couldn't find what I had originally wanted an-y-where. In a desperate lunchtime shopping trip, I dashed around Nordstrom Rack with a smoothie in hand (multi-tasking, friends) only to be disappointed by everything I tried on. I was about to head out the door when this flowy Diane von Furstenberg number stopped me in my tracks. I had already made multiple trips to the dressing room, but after a short pep talk I marched myself back for a final try-on sesh. Needless to say, it was love.

Long sleeve shift dresses are actually one of my favorite styles to wear and I'll definitely be stocking up for fall. They're perfect for transitional temps and I love how they look with booties, too! Check out some of my favorites below!
